The Advantages of Playing with Poker Edge clearly defined in comprehensible situations

The possibilities you gain with a poker tool like Shark Mate are beyond imagination. I could go on and on talking about the incredible features this poker tool has, I could speak for hours about the great potential of this poker software but for (future) users like you and me it will become even more clear if we would outline the straight advantages in some recognizable examples.

Example Situation

Player 1 is playing poker as if it were primarily a card game. He doesn’t play with Poker Edge

He holds QQ in middle position and is facing a small raise from under the gun and a fairly large reraise from the player in front of him. He’s thinking: I have pocket Queens, shall I call here or push all in? Player 1 is playing more tables at a time and he doesn’t really know anything about the other players. It’s too much work to keep a read on all players. So after he looks at his queens again he decides to call the reraise. He’s thinking: Queens are the third best hand in poker, normally Queens are good enough to even go all in with. The action now returns with the initial raiser who goes all in. The reraiser calls immediately, now putting player 1 for a big decision. He only has to throw in $120 more in a pot that contains over $275. He calculates his pot odds and decides to call, he’s not sure but he has to. Player utg has AK, the reraising player turns over AA. Sure enough the Aces hold up and the Queens go in to the muck. Player 1 loses his buy-in of $200.

Player 2 plays with shark mate and approaches poker as a peoples game.

He is in the exact same situation as Player 1, and also holds QQ. Player 2 has just opened shark mate which gives him about 100 stats on each opponent. He sees that the raiser under the gun is slightly loose and calls a lot. He figures he might lay ahead with his QQ but it could also be a 50/50 deal. If he would have been heads up he might just call here and see a flop. But because there is a reraise he now looks at the statistics of the reraiser. Sure enough, he checks the preflop raise percentage of this guy which turns out to be only 2%! Player 2 is now sure he must discontinue playing QQ in this pot as he puts the reraiser on either KK or AA. After he folds he smiles at the sight of Aces winning against the AK with board 410552.

As you can see, having stats on each player gives you a GREAT advantage. In this example you would save almost $200. And don’t forget that this is just some unique created situation. Yes, it’s unique, but similar situations happen every day at the poker table. Player 1 didn’t know anything about his opponents, at least too little to make a good decision. About 97% of the people that are playing without poker tools know to little about their opponents, and therefor make the wrong decisions whilst poker is all about making correct decisions. Player 2 made the correct decision, not because he was a better poker player than player 1, but just because he played with shark mate and therefore was able to look up stats and figure out the best decision: a clear fold! This fold preflop saved him over $200! You could save that kind of money as well if you would have bought poker edge!
